CTLGH Launches Five Years Highlights Document

Centre launches ‘Five Year Highlights’ document highlighting the work it is doing to improve tropical livestock development through genetic gains.

The publication celebrates some of the many research achievements that the Centre’s scientists have made since CTLGH was established in 2014 and the collaborations and partnerships that have been established in that time. Packed with powerful infographics, beautiful photography and quick facts, the publication is easy to read and gives a great introduction to the work of the Centre.

Speaking at its launch on 27 September, Professor Appolinaire Djikeng, Director of CTLGH, commented:

“We hope that this publication will give a real flavour of the work that we do, the achievements we have made to date and the benefits they will bring to small holder farmers in Sub-Saharan Africa and other tropical climates.

“Over the last five years the Centre has achieved a great amount however there is still much for us to do. We are indebted to our dedicated researchers, collaborators and advisors as well as our generous funders who are committed to establishing sustainable tropical livestock production in a changing climate, and helping to end world hunger.”
